...When darkness comes, you are never alone.
During the sudden and desperate time of war, The Way Followers must rely on their faith in God to help them. Wulfsiege Brimstone has taken over Zemirah as the new leader and is determined to make the people submit to only him. In order to erase history and religion, he gives the Way Followers a choice. Reject God or die.
As the Way Followers await their fate, Ruthie Woods flees to find the fabled mountain city of Tahlia in hopes to find refuge. Although she has been bullied and used to feeling alone, she must make the flight from Zemirah by herself. Wrestling with her feelings about God. If He is good, how could He allow the bullying, the war, her brother's disappearance and now being completely alone? With the help of some unusual friends Ruthie makes her way toward Tahlia and learns of her parent's mysterious past.
Can the Way Followers find hope in their tribulations? Or will they fall short and submit to Wulfsiege? Can Ruthie work out her feelings toward God and make it to Tahlia? Find out in The Flight from Zemirah.
